INTRODUCTION


We have chosen this subject because we want to know more about the hunger in Africa, but we are only going to talk about the malnutrition in Ethiopia.

We also are interested in this theme because obviously it is one of the biggest problems in our world. So, we are going to search more information in order to try to solve the problem.

Despite recent progress, malnutrition remains a severe problem in Ethiopia, especially among young children. Many of them suffer lifelong consequences in terms of higher risk of mortality and future illness, impaired cognitive ability and educational attainment, and overall productivity loss.

Ethiopia, is a country located in the Horn Africa, and is the most populous landlocked country in the world. Ethiopia is the second-most populous nation (after Nigeria) on the African continent, with over 84,320,000 inhabitants. Its capital, Addis Ababa, is known as "the political capital of Africa."
